Bicycle Advisory Committee
In the Fall of 2018, the Bicycle Advisory Committee was created to help assess the cycling culture and infrastructure that exists at VCU. The goal of the committee is to find new ways to improve the cycling conditions on campus and encourage those in the VCU community to choose cycling as an alternative way of commuting to, from, and around campus.
For more information about this committee and how to get involved, please contact Sera Erickson (ericksonss@vcu.edu).
Volunteer Nights
Volunteer night gives community members an opportunity to come into the shop and get hands on experience working on and building bikes, while also helping us manage the abandoned bikes that have been left on campus. Many of the bikes that have come out of the work done during volunteer night, have gone into the rental fleet we have for international students or have been donated to local nonprofits, such as Groundwork RVA, OAR's Ride-to-Reentry program, and Rag & Bones Cooperative.
*Volunteer Nights are held Thursdays 5:30PM-7:30PM during Spring 2022*
