Here at RamBikes, we want to make sure that all cyclists in the VCU and Greater Richmond community have all the information they need to insure that there bikes are as protected as possible. Thankfully there are many options available to the communtiy to not only register your bike, but also to insure it and networks to find it if it's stolen/lost.

This non-profit bike registery is free for everyone to use. Founded in 2013, it has become the "most widely used and succcessful bicycle registration service in the world". It's incredibly easy to use. All you have to do is create an account, add your bike, and then if anything were to happen, create a alert about your bike and situation. RVA Stolen Bicycle Forum
This is a local Facebook group that anyone can join in order to report a lost or stolen bike. There are more than a thousand members in this group, creating a wide network across the city to help community members locate their bikes. To join this group or find out more information, click here.
VCU Police
The VCU Police has registration system that is open to everyone in the VCU community. By registering, they will have a record or your bike in case it is ever stolen. You also have the option of picking up a registration decal to put on your registered bike. To ensure the best security for you and your bicycle, VCU Police also gives out free ulocks to members of the VCU Community.
